Right now the 2nd Amendment and the Sandy Hook shootings's are on everyone's mind, yes, we all agree they were a barbarous act, but limiting our safety or "stricter" gun laws are not the answer. For example, play out the same scenario in your home with all of your family there, some deranged wacko comes in your home ready to shoot everyone he sees, would you A: want to huddle in a corner with your family and call 911 while being shot at or, B: run and get your gun and be ready to protect yourself and family? It's really that simple, there's nothing complex about it. Please, don't allow these tragedies to play on your emotions to circumvent your "right" to bear arms. We know it's difficult to lose a loved one, but losing our right to protect ourselves, family, and country is a far greater tragedy.
On another note please be aware of this, most of us have heard of the law of "the unintended consequence," say for instance the wacko has no access to a gun, but he/she is hell bent on going into a school and killing as many people as possible, what do you think this person would do? This is what I forecast they will do, they will do like the terrorists do in other parts of the world and devise an improvised type devise that will do just as much harm as a gun and maybe more. Strap a B*O*M*B on their body, gasoline, machete, who knows what, all I can say is, be careful what you wish for. God Bless
